It has lidocaine which is a safe topical anesthetic commonly used in tattoo parlors and in doctors' office for numbing the sensation during laser procedures.
The product needs to be on your skin for about 30 minutes to be effective and for that the plastic isolation underwear comes in handy! You can apply the cream 30 minutes prior to your waxing appointment, slip on the disposable underwear and be on your way! The kit costs $24.99.
